Our largest Log Cabin, THE RIVER LODGE, 2004, is a 6,340 sq ft log cabin that resides on the banks of the Little Pigeon River. Your guests will love the custom Smoky Mountain touches, hardwood and tile floors, carved bears, and Old Hickory furniture throughout. Each bedroom has a private bath, and 12 of the bedrooms have French Doors opening onto a porch or balcony where guests will enjoy the views of the river and the fresh mountain air.

The River Lodge has been the site of many riverside weddings and receptions, as well as Family Reunions, Church Retreats, Corporate Retreats, Ladies Events, and more! Many groups hire caterers or private chefs for their time in The River Lodge. Who will you invite?

The MAIN LEVEL begins with a covered, level entrance with plenty of parking, even for tour buses. From the front porch, enter the cozy mountain parlor. To the left of the parlor, you’ll find 2 Master Suites and 2 Guest Rooms, one of which is handicap accessible.
To the right of the Parlor, you’ll find a Commercial kitchen equipped with an ice maker, 3 sinks, large refrigerator & large freezer, gas range with 6 burners, 2 ovens, small microwave, dishwasher, Large Kitchen-Aid Mixer, 4-Slice Toaster, Bunn Coffee Maker with 3 carafes, 2 Ice Tea Dispensers, Pots/Pans, dishes, Flatware, Glasses.Beyond the kitchen, the Dining Room overlooks the river below. The dining room includes ten 42” square tables with 4 chairs each (40 chairs total) with red leather seat cushions and there are 4 plastic booster seats for children. There are no highchairs.
The 20 x 20 Great Room on the Main Level offers a cathedral ceiling allowing plenty of natural light and exits to a patio and the lawn.
The Main Level also includes a covered back porch with a multitude of rocking chairs and stairs to the lower deck.

The UPPER LEVEL includes 4 guest rooms and an open sundeck that is perfect for viewing sunsets over the mountains.

The LOWER LEVEL welcomes you with a gathering room surrounded by murals of mountain wildlife. From here, branch out to the final 7 Guest Rooms and a full size Laundry Room with an extra Refrigerator. 6 of these Guest Rooms open onto a Covered Porch with a Pool Table, Ping Pong Table, and a super-sized hot tub on an open deck.

From the deck, you can take the stairs down to the banks of the river, where you’ll find picnic tables, benches, and a firepit.
Bring your own canoe, fishing poles & supplies to enjoy river sports at your own risk.
